The "X9 XN-F3" MobiBLU killer! smaller better faster

I just crapped my pants. It's 1/3 the thickness of my MobiBLU DAH-1500i, has a COLOR OLED screen, and comes in the same capacities (up to 1GB)!!
Anyone reading this from Korea please contact me, I have several under-used bodily organs I would trade for this.

Volkswagen loves iTunes

According to the BBC, iTunes users are 2.2 times more likely to own a Volkswagen than the average internet user. Since reading this, my mind cannot expunge the images of ex-hippies driving their yellow VW Beatles with daisies in the flower vases and dancing iPod girls in the backseat.

Another unreleased single from THE KNIFE

Review from FluxBlog:
The Knife's previous LP Deep Cuts is a hard act to follow, if just because it contains a song ("Heartbeats") which could very well be the most sublime single of this decade to date. The Knife pretty much shrug off the pressure on Silent Shout, making a lateral move away from the skewed, romantic pop of that album towards a sound that takes their distinctive production aesthetic to a much darker, creepier place. Nearly everything on the record sounds eerie and unnerving, if not outright malevolent. Imagine chopped and screwed Siouxie and the Banshees or Throbbing Gristle's "Hamburger Lady" reworked for a goth disco, and you're about halfway to the general feel of the record. (Click here to visit the official website of The Knife.)

Man dies on NYC subway, No one notices for 6 hours

From Local6.com News:
NEW YORK -- A man was found dead on a New York City subway car during morning rush hour, and his lifeless body may have ridden on the train for about six hours.

The body of Eugene Reilly, 64, was discovered shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday in the last car of the Q subway train in the 14th Street-Union Square station, said James Anyansi, a NYC Transit spokesman.

14th Street-Union Square: That's the same subway station I use to commute to work every day! Thankfully I didn't see any of this go down.

Continue reading to learn how it works...

HOW IT WORKS

We will assemble in Foley Square at 3 PM. Please be on time. Feel free to be early. You will be divided up into a team with a team leader who will coordinate your train car. There will be five staging cars flowing into five target cars, spanning the entire train. Take a look at the chart below. Every "S" stands for a "Staging car" where people will begin with their pants on. At every stop, an assigned group of people will stand up, take their pants off, leave their "S" cars and walk down the platform to their "T" (Target) car. The "/" is the middle point of the train.

Hack your MobiBLU Cube player!

Sweet! This guy's figured out how to hack your super-cool MobiBLU 1500 (or 1500i in the US) cube mp3 player to include your own animations and graphics. It takes some HEX editing know how; and of course this would void your 'warranty'. I'm working on a poser Apple animation for my startup screen.

GayBack Mountain beats out King Kong in UK debut!

Brokeback Mountain is steaming along in its platform release. It opened in the UK and was a "massive" hit in London cinemas over the weekend, knocking King Kong off his perch and pulling in £306,725.

sELECTROclash adds in-site instant beats!

See that new widget in the righthand sidebar? Thats the new Radio.Blog addition to sELECTROclash. Use it to find and instantly play pretty much any song you can think of. There are some preset stations already in there for you to click on, or type in a song or artist into the search box and (after creating a RadioBlogClub free account) instantly play your own personal fav's. Pretty slick!

In case you're confused, here's what I'm talkin' about:

I just bid on a custom Apple "iTab" tablet iBook!

The geeks at ThePlaceForItAll have created 100 custom tablet PC's out of G4 iBook laptops. It's got a touch screen and stylus, and comes with some games to take advantage of the Mac's motion sensors. Move the tablet up, down, left ,right, to control the game in the air. Pretty sweet! How come ole' Steve Jobs hasn't come out with one of these. He sure does love his Keynote speeches, this would cause the Mac fanboys to cream/poop their pants at the same time. There are only 100 of these; and they're numbered and autographed by the creators.

Check out the iTablet at Theplaceforitall

Check out the eBay auction, I am the top bidder at the time of this post!

MobiBLU upselling in France

Those poor Frenchy's. Apparently MobiBLU doesn't have a French distributor. The tiny cube player is selling for 195 Euro on eBay France. At current exchange, that is $235.70 for the 1 gig pool chalk mp3 player. Here in the U.S. you can pick them up for $129.99 at freakin' Wal-Mart! Another reason it sucks to be French.

'The Knife' release new single, prepare to unleash new album!

You heard me, The Knife is preparing to drop their second full album on the electro-pop masses in March! Finally we can all take Heartbeats off of repeat and sit in silence for a few minutes while we anticipate the new goodness from the Swedish bro-sis duo.
I've even got the skinny on the first single! Complete with mp3 download of the song. Supposedly the video will be coming out very soon, by the same director as You Take My Breath Away and Heartbeats! Look for it on http://theknife.net

Sexy video for the NEW VW Golf GTI

I love this video. I've been waiting for the new version of my current car to come out stateside. And it looks like the wait is almost over! I got to sit in the UK version a few weeks ago at the Wired Store in SoHo, but it felt very odd sitting in a right handed driver vehicle. Regardless, watch this video, and druel over it as I am now.

Thumbs love the new LG slider on Cingular

It's sexier looking that the clamshell flip-open thumber that came out on Verizon last month (Verizon VX-9800). While it doesn't have the techno beef of the new WinMo 5 smartphones hitting the streets these days, it does look like an attractive and able device for texting / emailing / messaging / mobile blogging.

It's ridiculously small. You can wear it around your neck. It plays MPEG4, ASF, WMA, MP3 and OGG format video and audio files. It's here. It's NOW.

Oh, It also sports an amazing 60 hour battery (not that you can even fit 60 hours worth of content into its 1 gig flash memory, but.. still...!)

H&R Block 'accidentally' gives your identity away to thieves; public

They sent out millions of parcels through US Mail with the recipients' SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS printed on the outside of the package! So, not only could anyone get their SS number, but also the name and address of the victim to go along with it; all printed in plain view on the outside of the mailer. Perfect! Now where do I sign up for that 2nd mortgage? Oh, I could just open this package and get all their tax info too, that way I could rape your IRA and claim your tax refund while I'm at it. Thanks H&R block!

When will companies be held responsible for the consumer information they keep losing? It's the digital equivalent of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. This time, we are the seals covered in crude oil suffocating from identity theft on the shores of Alaska.
